What is Suwayomi

Suwayomi is a software that allows you to read free comics infinitely on the web, Linux, Windows, macOS, and Android. It essentially brings the mobile app Mihon (formerly Tachiyomi) to the desktop, with even more powerful features.

Usage Guide

After installing the application, open the home page.

Go to Settings > Appearance Settings on the left, and select the Chinese language.

Suwayomi itself is a reader and does not provide comic sources. To read comics, you need to install extensions.

Click Browse > Extensions on the left.

Click Extension Repository.

Paste and add the third-party online repository URL:

Return to the Browse interface, and the extensions will appear. Click the install button on the right.

If you cannot access it, it's likely a network issue. You can download the extension APK file and install it manually.

After downloading the APK, you can import it here.

You can then see it in the Installed section.

Click on a source to see the comics.

Click on a comic to add it to your library.

You can now see it in your library.

Click on a chapter to start reading. It supports using the left/right arrow keys to turn pages.

You can not only read online but also download comics locally to build your own comic library, so you no longer have to worry about comic websites shutting down.

In the settings, you can modify various themes and fine-tune the comic reading details.
