What is Benotes?

Benotes is an open-source, self-hosted note and bookmark web application. Built with Laravel and the lightweight Lumen framework, it can be installed as a PWA and hosted almost anywhere. It supports both Markdown and a rich text editor.

User Experience

After installing the application, the login page opens by default. Credentials: admin@example.com / 123456

You can create a new collection on the left side and select an icon for it.

After creation, it appears on the left. There seems to be a bug here; it got stuck for me, and after refreshing, a bunch of them appeared.

Bookmarks can be moved to other collections.
