Cashbook User Experience: A Beautiful and Practical Personal Ledger

What is cashbook?

cashbook is a personal or household bookkeeping application that supports private deployment. There are no restrictions on commercial use or other purposes.

It is recommended that users create a new ledger each year. The charting functionality is designed to effectively analyze annual data.

How to Use

After installing the application, open the login page. This is its frontend.

The frontend does not have a registration entry. You must first access the backend by appending /admin to the domain. https://cashbook.懒猫名.heiyu.space/admin/login

Admin account credentials: admin / adminadmin After logging in, you will enter the backend homepage.

Click on "Users" and add a new user.

In the system settings, enable the registration feature. However, there seems to be a bug here, as clicking save doesn't respond.

Click ["Main Site"] to return to the frontend page.

You can now log in using the newly created user account.

On the homepage after logging in, first create a new ledger.

Then, click on "Ledger".

You can switch between different ledgers here.

Go to ["Transaction Management"] -> Add a new record.

If you have a receipt, you can upload it here.

It also supports import functionality.

Taking WeChat as an example: from WeChat Pay, download the bill. It will ask you to send it to an email address and provide an extraction password.

I imported my WeChat transaction history; it was very fast.

With data, the page displays nicely. Returning to the Ledger Calendar, you can see the data is displayed.

The data analysis chart function makes things more intuitive.

In the Monthly Transaction Statistics, you can see the comparison between your income and expenses.

Hopefully, everyone's Income >>>> Expenses, which indicates healthy finances.
