What is NewsNow?

NewsNow is an elegant real-time news reader application designed to deliver the latest and most popular news content.

Key Features

Elegant Design: Provides a pleasant reading experience, making it easy for users to stay updated with the latest news. GitHub Login & Data Sync: Supports user login via GitHub and synchronizes user data. Caching Mechanism: Default cache duration is 30 minutes. Logged-in users can force a refresh to fetch the latest data. Flexible Update Frequency: The crawling interval can be adjusted to as frequent as every two minutes based on the update frequency of the content source. This saves resources and prevents IP bans due to frequent crawling.

This application is similar to the previously introduced DailyHot app, but its interface is indeed more visually appealing than DailyHot's.

How to Use

After installing the app, open it to see the home page.

The Zhihu module is also not displaying data, likely due to changes in Zhihu's API causing data fetching to fail.

Click the button in the upper right corner to drag and sort modules directly, which is quite convenient.

A bug was discovered here: for CoolApk news, clicking an item doesn't navigate to the detail page; it only opens the homepage tab.

Clicking [More] reveals additional platforms. Clicking the ⭐️ adds the data to the [Following] page.

If data fails to load, click the refresh button to fetch it again. The button above a module refreshes only that specific module, while the button in the top right corner of the navigation bar refreshes all news.

Clicking on a specific news item navigates to the corresponding website.

Overall, this application is very simple to use. It can be used in conjunction with DailyHot for complementary information coverage.
