Stringer: The Minimalist RSS Aggregation Power Tool
What is Stringer?
Stringer is an open-source RSS reader built with Ruby, with the tagline "anti-social RSS reader."
The name is quite interesting—it essentially means it focuses purely on reading, without all the flashy social sharing features.
Stringer shares many similarities with Miniflux; both are super simple implementations of feed readers. It's written in Ruby, and compared to feedbin (also written in Ruby), its architecture is simpler and its interface more modern.

How to Use
After installing the app, open the homepage and first register a user.

After successful registration, select "Not now" for the first time.

You will enter the guide page.

Click the "+" to add an RSS feed.

Find the RSS link of the website you want to subscribe to. It usually looks like one of these:
https://example.com/feedhttps://example.com/rsshttps://example.com/rss.xml
In Stringer, click "Add Feed" and paste the link.
Here are some quality RSS feeds I'm using:

Then Stringer is for you.
