4ga Boards: A Practical Guide to Open Source Kanban Management Tools
In simple terms, 4ga Boards is an intuitive Kanban system specifically designed for real-time project management. It adopts the classic Kanban design, allowing you to manage work tasks as effortlessly as organizing your desk.

After installing the application, open the login page.
Default username: demo
Default password: demo

You can change the default language in the settings.

Add projects and boards from the bottom left corner.

4ga Boards uses a multi-level hierarchy: Project -> Board -> List -> Card -> Task
- Project: The top level, e.g., "Website Redesign"
- Board: Different sections under a project, e.g., "Frontend Development", "Backend API"
- List: Different statuses on a board, e.g., "To Do", "In Progress", "Done"
- Card: Specific tasks
- Task: Subtasks under a card
Creating a board within a project:
- Click "New Board"
- Select a template (Blank, Basic Kanban, To-do List, etc.)
- You can also import board data from Trello

Practical Tip: You can export a JSON file from Trello and then import it into 4ga Boards, making data migration very convenient.
On the list page, add specific task cards.

Card details can be modified, and cards support drag-and-drop to change their order.

To add team members, click the add user button in the top right corner.

You can set permissions:
- Member: Can edit boards and cards
- Observer: Can only view


If you previously used Trello:
- Export the board from Trello (JSON format)
- Create a new board in 4ga Boards
- Select "Import from Trello"
- Upload the JSON file
