What is AirTrail?

In simple terms, AirTrail is a modern, open-source personal flight tracking system. It's a web application that allows users to track flights and view their flight history. To put it plainly:

After installing it from the Lazycat Store, you first need to register a user:

"Metric" indicates the system is currently using metric units (e.g., displaying "kilometers" instead of "miles"). You can just go with the default.

After logging in, you'll see a world map.

Click the "Add Flight" button at the bottom to add a record.

Afterwards, you will see a flight route.

  • Click on any route to see detailed flight information.

  • Supports zooming and dragging – click wherever you want to look. The statistics feature at the bottom is also very practical.

Statistics include:

  • Total number of flights and total flight distance

  • Most frequent destinations

  • Most frequently used airlines

  • Annual flight trend analysis
