What is Ubooquity?

In simple terms, Ubooquity is a free, lightweight, and easy-to-use home server specifically designed for managing your comics and e-books. Imagine having a single place to store all your comics and novels, accessible from your phone, tablet, or computer from anywhere – that's what Ubooquity does.

No need to install various apps; you can read directly from a web browser, with an experience similar to dedicated comic reader apps.

Usage Guide

After installing the application, open the home page.

First, go to the Admin interface on the left to set a password.

After logging in, you'll enter the main page.

The Books and Comics folders at the top are already pre-configured with their paths.

These correspond to these two folders in the application data.

Simply upload the corresponding files directly into the appropriate paths.

• It is recommended to enable "Scan at startup" to automatically scan for new files on launch.
• Set the "Scan period" to scan every few hours (I usually set it to 12 hours).

Click 'Scan', and you can see the number of files found.

Click to enter the main user interface.

Enter the main page.

You can see the files you just uploaded in the 'books' section.

Click to start reading.

You can adjust font size, theme, and more.

Android users can find the APK on GitHub. This is a client specifically developed for Ubooquity, offering a better experience than the web version.
