WonderCMS Practical Guide: A Lightweight Website Builder Even Beginners Can Master
What is WonderCMS?
WonderCMS is a minimal flat-file CMS that's fast, responsive, and requires zero configuration. It's genuinely interesting - the entire system consists of just 5 files. Compared to behemoths like WordPress which can easily reach hundreds of megabytes, this is a breath of fresh air.
Ideal for these scenarios:
- Personal blogs: For diaries, technical sharing, etc.
- Small business websites: To display company information and contact details
- Portfolio websites: For designers and photographers to showcase their work
- Simple project pages: For open-source projects or product introductions
- Learning and practice: For beginners wanting to understand how CMS works

Summary
WonderCMS is a fascinating project. As the smallest flat-file CMS, it has been in development since 2008, indicating a solid user base.
For those just starting out with building a website, it lets you focus on the content itself rather than fiddling with various configurations.
Of course, it's not a silver bullet, but for simple personal websites or small projects, it's truly sufficient.
And because of its simplicity, you can also better understand how websites work.
