Piik
Private, low-latency screen sharing for up to 20 friends in their browsers.
Piik asked a homeowner to share the screen, and up to 20 invited viewers watched it through a browser. The Lazy Cat Micro Service version installs Piik on your Micro Service, and the room, invitation and playback are still managed by Piik. ##Before you start - Both homeowners and viewers need to be able to access the lazy cat mini suit and complete the lazy cat login when opening Piik or invitation links. - Homeowners should use a computer browser that supports screen sharing. Whether you can select windows, tabs, and system audio depends on the browser and operating system. - By default, screens are transmitted through a P2P connection between participants. Both parties need available Internet and UDP networks; just because a webpage can be opened does not mean that the screen must be connected. ##Share screen 1. Open **Piik** in the application list of Lazy Cat Micro Services. When you open it for the first time, read and confirm the instructions. 2. Click ** to start sharing **. 3. Select the screen, window or tab you want to share in the browser's system selection box; if you need sound and the browser provides options, please also enable audio. 4. After confirming the preview, click ** Copy the invitation link ** to send the link to your friend. 5. Keep this browser tab open during sharing. Use ** Pause sharing ** when you need to leave temporarily; click ** Stop sharing ** when you end. When Piik does not create a room, it displays "Not connected to server". This is in standby state; signaling connections will not be established until the room is created.
