Director Stage
A 3D staging workbench for AI video-generation workflows: place characters, props and cameras, control framing and blocking, then export clean stills and preview videos for Seedance / Kling.
Director Stage is an open-source 3D staging tool for AI video-generation workflows such as Seedance and Kling: place characters, props and cameras in a 3D space, control camera moves, composition and blocking, then export clean screenshots or preview videos as model input. Core features from the upstream project: - Camera: independent cameras with focal length and roll, one-click shot-size presets, procedural camera-move clips; - Scene: character and prop placement, composition grid and labels, multiple aspect ratios (16:9 / 9:16 / 1:1 / 4:3 / 21:9 / 3:4); - Blocking: precise position / rotation / scale, walk paths and a keyframe timeline; - Output: capture to canvas, preview-video export (real browser-supported formats, no WebM-renamed-as-MP4), and one-click Chinese camera-move text derived from the current camera and character, ready to use as a generation prompt. LazyCat adaptations: - The screenshot / video export entry hooks into the platform file channel, offering "save to local / save to LazyCat Drive" on export; - Scenes auto-save to the app's server-side storage (per account, kept across restarts and upgrades), with browser-storage fallback on static hosting; - A one-click New Scene toolbar action resets to a fresh scene (undoable, the saved scene is not overwritten until you save); - UI supports Chinese / English / Japanese, following the browser language by default; - All routes sit behind the LazyCat sign-in state — no in-app accounts, open and use.
