Xiaowen Budget

Xiaowen Budget is a zero-based budgeting tool that runs entirely on your own device: accounts, budgets, reports and the AI assistant all live in a single local SQLite file. It follows the YNAB four rules — give every dollar a job, embrace your true expenses, roll with the punches, and age your money. It supports rich asset/liability account types, double-entry automatic transfer pairing, batch categorization and reconciliation, net-worth and spending reports; the AI assistant reads and writes the local database through guarded SQL tools (writes require confirmation) and works with any OpenAI Chat Completions compatible endpoint; Telegram and personal WeChat channels let you log expenses from chat; a daily scheduled backup gzips the database with optional S3-compatible remote retention. Deployed on LazyCat micro service, all financial data stays on the box — nothing is uploaded.
