A self-hosted document manager for computer science papers that supports importing, retrieving, reading and managing PDF papers.
Xuewen is a personal thesis database deployed in Lazy Cat Micro Clothing. It can import PDFs, paper pages, DOI and arXiv numbers, automatically organize metadata, and provide reading, retrieval, tagging, project and BibTeX export functions. ##Get started quickly 1. Open the application and enter the "Library" on the left. 2. Click on "Import papers". 3. Choose one of the following methods to import the paper. After completing it, click the paper in the list to read and organize it. ##Import papers ###Method 1: Paste the paper link, DOI or arXiv number Paste the content in the "Paste a link, DOI, or arXiv id" input box and click "Add". The following test papers have been successfully imported on the target lazy cat device on 2026-07-24: - Paper page: [arXiv:0801.0001](https://arxiv.org/abs/0801.0001). - You can also directly enter the arXiv number: `0801.0001`. - DOI links to publishers require the corresponding paper to have an open PDF or an institutional access Cookie has been configured. After importing, Xuewen will obtain metadata for the paper; if "needs review" is displayed, it means that you need to supplement or confirm information such as title and author. ###Method 2: Select PDF from lazy cat's online disk or local ###Method 3: Download restricted papers through school institutions If you have EZproxy access to the school library, you can expand "Institutional access (EZproxy cookie)" and paste your own `Cookie:` request header. It is only used for PDFs of ACM/IEEE and other papers where current application requests are limited; cookies will expire and need to be updated by themselves. Don't paste other people's cookies or share cookies with others.
