earth3D
Interactive 3D Earth. Drag and rotate to see day, night, morning, dusk, four seasons and time zones, and superimpose geographical knowledge layers such as great circle routes, pressure bands and wind bands
An interactive 3D earth created with Three.js is for geography teaching and knowledge visualization. Drag to rotate and scroll to zoom; drag "Date" to see the direct solar point moving between the Tropic of Capricorn (the cause of the four seasons), drag "Universal Time UTC" to see the morning and dusk line scanning the earth (day and night changes) The knowledge layers can be lit up one by one: latitude and longitude network, five belts, 24 time zones, great circle route, direct solar point, pressure belt and wind belt, seven continents and four oceans, ocean currents, length of day and night, plate seismic belt. Custom shaders restore soft morning and dusk lines, night city lights, and atmospheric edge glows. Pure front-end, built-in textures and libraries, ready to be used out of the box.
