Description

Keywordista is an App Store keyword ranking tracking tool for independent iOS developers and small teams. It can record the ranking changes of your App for specified keywords in the App Store in different countries and regions, and save historical data so that you can continuously observe the ASO optimization results. Data is stored in the persistent directory of the native microservice and does not rely on third-party SaaS. ##Who is suitable for use - There are iOS apps on the App Store and developers who want to observe keyword rankings for a long time. - Small teams that need to compare the performance of the same keyword in different countries or regions. - ASO operators who want to record historical rankings of keywords rather than manually taking screenshots or maintaining tables. - Users who want to pay attention to whether their App has entered the Top 100 free lists in various regions. ##Core Features - Track App Store keyword rankings. - Support App Stores in multiple countries and regions. - After adding multiple apps, you can switch between different apps. - Save a keyword ranking history for easy viewing of trends. - Display the Top Results in search results for viewing competing apps. - Calculate Difficulty and Entry Barrier to help determine the intensity of keyword competition. - Optionally connect to the App Store Connect API to read the developer keywords you configure in App Store Connect. - Optional access to the Apple Search Ads API for keyword suggestions. - Monitor whether apps enter the Top 100 lists in various regions and support browser notifications. ### 2. Select `+ Add an app`. 3. Enter the App Store ID, such as the numeric ID in the App Store link. 4. Select Primary storefront to pull the App name and icon. 5. Click `Add app`. The App Store ID can usually be found from the App Store link. For example: ```text https://apps.apple.com/us/app/example/id1625870857 ``` Among them,`1625870857` is the App Store ID. ### 3. add keywords After adding the App, go back to the main interface to add the keywords you want to track. Operation steps: 1. Click `+ Keyword` at the top of the page. 2. Enter keywords in Term, such as flashcards. 3. Select the country or region to track in Countries. 4. Click `Add in... countries`。 If you select multiple countries at a time, Keywordista will create tracking tasks for multiple regions for the same keyword. ### 4. Wait or manually refresh rankings After a keyword is added, the app will query the corresponding App Store search results and record the ranking of your App under the keyword. ### App Store Connect API The App Store Connect API is optional. After configuration, Keywordista can read the keyword fields you fill in for the App version in App Store Connect and identify these developer keywords in the interface. Need to fill in: - `Key ID` - `Issuer ID` - `.p8` private key content Create path: ```text App Store Connect -> Users and Access -> Integrations -> App Store Connect API ``` After filling in, click Save. After the connection is successful, you can click `Refresh now` to pull the latest keyword list. ### Apple Search Ads API The Apple Search Ads API is optional. When configured, Keywordista can provide keyword suggestions based on Apple Search Ads search term reports. It is suitable for accounts that have already advertised in Apple Search Ads and accumulated search term data. Need to fill in: - `Client ID` - `Client Secret` - `Org ID`, optional If you don't have an Apple Search Ads account, or if you don't have relevant advertising data in your account, you can not configure this item first, without affecting basic keyword ranking tracking. ###List Monitoring Click on the Charts entry at the top to view the list monitoring page. The list here is not a keyword search ranking, but the Top 100 free list of the App Store. Keywordista will check whether the apps that have been concerned have entered the Top 100 free list in the corresponding category in the available region, and record events when the following changes occur: - Enter the list. - The ranking of the list has changed. - Quit the list. You can click on the Charts page: - Check now: Check the status of the list immediately. - `Re-probe availability`: Re-detect which countries or regions the App is available in. - `Enable`: Allow browser notifications and receive reminders when the list changes. List checking is an asynchronous task. After clicking 'Check now', the application needs to request the App's available regions and corresponding category lists one by one, which usually takes 30 seconds to 2 minutes. After the check is completed, if the App enters the Top 100 in any available region, the page will display the current list record; if it does not enter the Top 100, the page will continue to be empty, which is normal. For example, use the application test in China: - App: Douyin - App Store ID:`1142110895` - Primary storefront:`CN` - Recommended test keywords: `Douyin`,`WeChat`,`Xiaohongshu` Add Douyin and go to the Charts page, click `Check now` and wait for the check to complete. If Douyin was still in the Top 100 free list at the time, there would be a record similar to the following: - 'CN' China Free List: Around '#7' - 'HK' Hong Kong Free List: Around '#1' - 'MO' Macau Free List: Around '#2' The rankings will change in real time with the App Store, and the above rankings are only used as test reference.
