Open source digital signage management system for managing playback materials, scheduling and device configuration.
Anthias is an open source digital signage management system used to centrally manage the web pages, pictures, videos and streaming media materials to be played on the screen. You can add material in the browser, adjust the playback order, set the playback time period, and check the system operating status. ##What is suitable for doing - Information screen content management for stores, offices, exhibition halls, front desk and other scenes. - Manage pictures, web links, or locally uploaded material. - Arrange the material playback by date, week, and time period. - Adjust the playback order and temporarily enable or disable a certain material. - View service running status, memory, disk and Anthias version information. There are main entrances at the top of the page: - `Schedule`: Manage material, playback order and scheduling. - `Player`: Open the browser playback page and automatically rotate the currently enabled and valid scheduled materials. - `Settings`: Set the player name, default playback duration, authentication, backup recovery, etc. - System info: View system diagnostic information. ##Add material On the `Schedule` page, click `Add Asset` in the upper right corner. You can choose two ways to add: - `From URL`: Fill in a web page, picture, video or streaming media URL. - `Upload file`: Upload a picture or video file locally. After uploading a file, the system will display the upload and processing status. After processing is completed, the material will appear in the list. ##Manage playlists The Schedule page is divided into two areas: - `Enabled`: The material has been enabled and will participate in playback. - `Inactive`: The material is not enabled and does not participate in playback, but it is still retained in the material library. Each material line can perform the following operations: - Enable or disable: Use the Enabled switch to control whether to participate in playback. - Preview: Click the eye icon to view the material content. - Download: Click the download icon to save the material. - Edit: Click on the pencil icon to modify the name, playback time, and advanced rules. - Delete: Click the Delete icon to remove the material. In the `Enabled` area, you can drag the material to adjust the playback order. The 'Previous' and 'Next' at the top can be used to switch to the previous or next footage. ##How to start playing In the current version of Lazy Cat Micro Service, it is recommended to use the `Player` page to play. Usage: 1. Add materials first on the Schedule page. 2. Make sure that the material you want to play is in the Enabled area. 3. Check the Start/End time of the material to ensure that the current time is in the playback window. 4. Click `Player` in the top navigation. 5. The playback page will automatically display the currently playable material in full screen and rotate it according to the duration of the material. There is a set of floating control buttons in the upper right corner of the playback page. When the mouse moves over the page, it will display: - Last material. - Pause or continue playing. - Next material. - Refresh the playlist. - Enter the browser full screen. - Return to the Schedule management page. The playback page will read videos that are currently Enabled and valid for scheduling; videos that are not enabled, are still being processed, exceed the date-time window, or are marked as unreachable will not be played. Note: Currently,`Player` is a browser playback page and is suitable for opening on a computer, TV browser, tablet or screen projection device.
