Kendraw
** Kenraw ** is an open source modern chemical molecular mapping tool designed to be a free alternative to ChemDraw. You can draw publication-quality molecular structures, chemical reactions and reaction mechanisms directly in the browser without registering an account, and it is completely free.

Place atoms 1. Press `A` to switch to ** Atomic Tools ** 2. Directly in the blank space of the canvas ** left-click ** to place an atom (default is carbon C) 3. To change the element type: ** Right-click the Atomic Tool button on the left tool panel to pop up the element selection panel, where you can select common elements such as C, N, O, S, P, F, Cl, Br, and I 4. After selecting the elements, continue to click and place them on the canvas >** Quickly change elements with existing atoms **: First use the selection tool (`V `) to click to select an atom, and then directly press the keyboard letters to change:💡 >-`C` → Carbon| `N` → Nitrogen| `O` → Oxygen| `S` → Sulfur >-`F` → Fluorine| `L` → Chlorine| `P` → Phosphorus| H → Hydrogen >-`I` → Iodine| `B` → Boron| `M` → methyl (carbon) ### 2. Draw chemical bonds 1. Press `B` to switch to the ** Chemical Key Tool ** 2. Clicking on an existing atom will automatically generate a new carbon atom next to the atom at a standard bond angle and connect it 3. Repeatedly click on existing atoms to automatically extend the carbon chain (zigzag) 4. To change the key type: ** Right-click ** Key Tools button on the left tool panel Note: * * Q: Where is the data stored? ** A: This application is ready-to-go design. All data is stored locally in the browser and will not be uploaded to any server. * * Q: Why not press the letter key to place the atoms? ** A: Press the letter key to switch tool modes. To place atoms, press `A` to switch to the Atomic tool, and then click on the canvas. To change an element with an existing atom, first select the atom with `V` and then press the corresponding letter. * * Q: Can the exported pictures be used for paper publishing? ** A: Yes. Supports SVG vector format and high-resolution PNG output to meet the publishing requirements of academic journals.
