VERX is a free and open source brand naming research tool designed specifically for founders and brand teams. It samples search results through a metasearch engine and scores candidate brand names in multiple dimensions, helping you quickly determine whether a name is "safe" to be available at an early stage. ##Core Features - ** Congestion score **: How many people have this name been used in the target industry? - ** Intention relevance **: How well do search results match your business direction? - ** Competitive collision detection **: Is there a strong competitor with the same name? - ** Negative association scanning **: Is there any negative information such as fraud or fraud about this name online? - ** Confusion risk assessment **: Is it easy to be confused with other brands? - ** Evidence link **: Each score comes with a search result link for your own verification #How to use ###Step 1: Enter brand words When you open the app, you will see the main interface. Enter the brand name you want to evaluate in the **Brand terms * area: - **Brand Term 1** is required - You can enter up to **5 ** candidate names for comparison ###Step 2: Set the industry domain Enter your target industry tags (up to 3) in the **Sectors** area, and press Enter to confirm. Example industries: `fintech`,`crypto`,`gaming`,`robotics`,`social media`,`eCommerce` Select the target **Country** and **Language** at the same time to bring the search results closer to your target market. ###Step 3: Generate a report Click the **Generate report** button, VERX will: 1. Search for each brand word in a specified industry range through the SearXNG meta search engine 2. Analyze search results and calculate scores for each dimension 3. Generate comprehensive evaluation report > A progress bar and estimated completion time will be displayed during the report generation process, which may take 1-2 minutes in full mode.
