BeanBay is a self-managed coffee recipe optimization tool. At its core is the Bayesian Optimization Engine (BayBE)**-every time you make and score your coffee, the system will automatically learn your preferences and recommend a better recipe next time. The more you rush, the more accurate the recommendation. ** Supports 7 brewing methods **: Italian espresso, hand brew, French press pot, Italian press, Turkish coffee, mocha pot, cold extract. ##Get started quickly (3 steps start) ###Step 1: Add your coffee beans After opening the app, click the **"Add Your First Bean →"* button on the home page, or the **"Beans"** on the left navigation bar. Fill in the coffee bean information: - **Bean name**(required): Bean name, such as `Ethiopia Yirgachefe` - **Roaster**(optional): Roaster, such as Onyx Coffee Lab - **Origin**(optional): Origin, such as `Yirgachefe, Ethiopia` Click **"More Details"** to fill in more parameters (baking degree, processing method, etc.). --- ###Step 2: Set up your applianceˇ Click the **"Equipment"** on the left to set up your brewing equipment. BayBE will automatically adjust the optimized parameter range based on the characteristics of the appliance in your combination. --- ###Step 3: Start brewing → Get recommendations →Rate This is the core cycle of BeanBay: #### ① Enter the brewing page Click the **"Let's Brew"* on the left to select the **Brew Setup** and ** Coffee Bean ** you want to use. #### ② Get AI recommended formula The system will give you a ** Bayes-optimized recipe ** based on the appliance and beans you choose, including: - Grinding Degree (Grind Size) - Water temperature (Temperature) - Amount of powder (Dose) - Water (Water / Yield) - Other method-specific parameters >** The first few times ** will be the "exploration" phase-the system is trying different parameter combinations to understand the space. Don't worry, even a failed brew is helping it learn. #### ③ Cooking, tasting, scoring After brewing according to the recommended recipe, go back to application scoring: - ** Taste Score **(Taste Score) - ** Extraction time ** - ** Flavor characteristics ** Each scoring is training your personal optimization model. As data accumulates, recommendations will become more and more accurate.
