Invoice Builder

When you open the application for the first time, you will enter the ** database selection page **: ! [First Use-Database Selection](images/app_db_selection.png) The purpose of this page is to select where your data is stored. All invoice, customer, business, etc. data is saved in a SQLite database file (`. db `). You have two choices: | operation | description | | ------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------- | | * * Create a new database ** | Click the purple button, enter the database name, create a new empty database and start using it | | * * Open an existing database **| If you have used it before, the list below will display the most recently used database, which can be opened by clicking directly| There are also two tabs at the top of the page: - * * Local **: Data stored on this device (recommended) - * * Server **: Connect to the remote server database >** Tip *: The database file is all your data. You only need to export this file when backing up.💡 After selecting or creating a database, you can enter the main application interface. --- It is recommended to set up in the following order: ``` Set language → add company → add customer → add project → create invoice ``` Process for creating invoices: ###Operation steps 1. Click on the left navigation bar ** Invoice **📄 2. Click the **+** button in the lower right corner to create a new invoice 3. Switch to the ** Edit ** tab on the right panel and fill in: | regional | description | | ------------ | ----------------------------------------- | | * * Currency ** | Select the currency to use for the invoice (such as CNY) | | * * Style Template **| Select a PDF style template | | * * Language ** | Select the language of the invoice body (determines the label language in the PDF)| | * * Enterprise ** | Select the billing company (select from existing companies) | | * * Issued to ** | Select customers (select from existing customers) | | * * Invoice Information **| Set invoice number, date, expiration date, etc. | | * * Add project **| Click + Add Item Add Product/Service Details | ###Add project details After clicking **+ Add Item **, you can: - * * Select from existing projects **: Directly quote data from project management - * * Manual entry **: Enter project name, quantity, unit price - The system automatically calculates ** Total = quantity × unit price ** ###Invoice status Invoice supports the following status flows: ``` Draft → active invoice → paid/filed ``` Use the *** menu in the lower right corner to modify the invoice status. 4.
