yt-dlp UI
The yt-dlp UI is a lightweight, self-managed browser interface that provides easy-to-use download management for yt‑dlp. It uses fast Rust backend drivers to support centralized management of playlists, archives and downloaded albums, avoiding the cumbersome command line, while retaining the powerful options of yt‑dlp.
The downloaded files are saved under the Lazy Cat Network Disk-Application Data-yt-dlp-ui-download folder, see the attached figure - Zero command-line friction: Initiate downloads through a simple Web interface, retaining the core capabilities of yt‑dlp (such as format selection, output templates, error handling). - Format and extractor: Support format selection (such as beaudio/m4a), extractor parameters (such as youtube:player_client=android), mandatory IPv4, and meet platform compatibility and quality control. - Audio processing: Extract the audio track (-x) with one click, specify the audio format (mp3) and quality (0), and support thumbnail and metadata embedding to facilitate media library management. - Archive anti-duplication: You can configure downloading archive files (such as downloaded_%(playlist_title) s.txt) to avoid repeated downloading of long playlists and channel content. - Output template: Flexible output path naming (such as %(playlist_title)s/%(playlist_index) 02d), combined with metadata parsing rules, automatically archives and organizes albums/songs. - Task View and Settings: Provides a job list and settings page that allows you to adjust download/archive directories and storage policies at run time.
