WulfVault is a self-managed enterprise-class file sharing platform for organizations that require secure, auditable, and controllable data transfer. It is built in Go, has stable performance, supports multiple users and roles, detailed download tracking, compliance auditing, file request entry, two-step verification and branding customization, replacing expensive commercial transmission services and gaining full control of data.
Open the application, the default login account password is admin@lazycat.com/admin123, click Server above, change the port to 443, click save, and restart the application to use it normally. Note: If you don't change it, the generated link will include 8080. The generated link cannot be opened, but it can be opened normally after removing ":8080". If you change it to 443, you can open the link without removing it. - Core capabilities: multi-user and role (super administrator/administrator/ordinary user/download account), storage quota per user, detailed download record (mailbox, timestamp, IP optional), random hash link and password protection, automatic expiration/limit by download number. - Compliance and auditing: Comprehensive audit logs (login, file operations, settings changes, team management, etc.), configurable retention periods (default 90 days can be extended to 10 years) and size thresholds, support CSV export, and meet GDPR, SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001 and other requirements. - Security mechanisms: bcrypt password hash (12 cost), TOTP two-step verification and backup code, session security (SameSite/HttpOnly), transport layer encryption (it is recommended to enable TLS 1.2+ in reverse proxy), no directory enumeration and file traversal. - Large file support: Native support for 5GB+ file upload (configurable), which is suitable for sharing and retaining large-volume content such as surveillance videos, design materials, and project deliverables. - File request: You can create an upload request portal (size and quantity limits, passwords, and automatic cleanup after expiration) to collect external customers or contractors 'documents with countdown and status identification. - Download tracking and reporting: View download history by file dimensions, generate compliance reports (CSV), support mailbox identification and timeline, and facilitate forensics and audit. - Management and customization: system-level settings (recycle bin retention period, default quota, maximum file size, Server URL/port), brand Logo/color/company name customization, brand display of download page. - Team collaboration: team and member management, team quotas, sharing files to multiple teams, real-time synchronization and visual identification (support ownership/administrator/member roles). - API capabilities: Complete REST APIs (users, files, download accounts, file requests, teams, emails, system statistics, etc.) for easy automation and integration with third parties. - Operation and maintenance friendly: Docker/Compose deployment, independent persistence of data and upload directories, health check endpoints, logging and cleanup task scheduling, support for reverse proxy (Nginx/Caddy) and multi-domain scenarios. - Privacy and Cookies: By default, only necessary session cookies are used and no analysis/ad tracking is included; if compliance display is required, a privacy/Cookie/data processing agreement template and deployment list are provided.
