** YT2 Radarr** is a Web application that downloads and integrates YouTube videos into the Radarr movie library ###Two usage models ####Mode 1: Independent download (recommended for novices) - No need for Radarr - Simple configuration - Download the video directly to the designated directory ####Mode 2: Integrate Radarr - Linkage with Radarr Film Library - Automatic naming and classification - Support Extras subfolders --- ##ˇFirst configuration ### 1. enter the setting page Click the **"Settings"** button in the upper right corner ### 2. Configure Radarr connection (optional) If you want to use Radarr integration features, you need to configure: ``` Radarr URL: http://your-radarr-ip:7878 Radarr API Key: Your API key ``` ** How to obtain Radarr API Key: ** 1. Log in to Radarr 2. Go to Settings → General 3. Find the Security section 4. Copy `API Key` ** If you just want to download videos and don't need Radarr, you can skip this step ** ### 3. Configure movie library path ####Scenario A: Only download videos (without using Radarr) **Library Locations** Fill in: ``` /config ``` or the actual download directory in your container **Path Overrides** Leave blank ####Case B: Integrate Radarr (path mapping is required) ** Key concepts: ** - Path seen by Radarr (remote path) - The path seen by the yt2radarr container (local path) ### 4. YouTube Cookies (optional) If you need to download protected videos or require login: 1. Export cookies using browser extensions or yt-dlp 2. Copy the contents of cookies.txt 3. Paste into the **YouTube Cookies** text box 4. click Save ** Export cookies command: ** ```bash yt-dlp --cookies-from-browser chrome --cookies cookies.txt "https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=VIDEO_ID" ```
