Eggplant
Eggplant is a self-hosted music streaming service that automatically generates a music library based on the local folder structure, provides web-side playback and on-demand audio transcoding, supports album thumbnails and flexible access control.
The music directory is mounted under the music folder under the lazy cat network disk. Please create it if it is not available. To open the application, you need to create an administrator account password. - Self-hosting: No upload is required, and the local directory level is directly used as the music library. The folder is the album, and the file name is the track title. - Web playback: Built-in Web UI (default port 8118) browses albums and tracks, supporting online playback and basic interaction. - On-demand transcoding: Integrated FFmpeg, audio can be transcoded instantly during playback (such as Opus) and automatically cached to improve subsequent access performance. - Automatic cache management: Old transcoding and thumbnail caches are automatically cleaned up without manual maintenance. - Album thumbnail: Place thumbnail.png, etc. in the album catalog to display the cover thumbnail.
