CronDNS
CronDNS is a self-hosted dynamic DNS manager that provides a concise Web interface and automatically maintains public network resolution of host names. It only updates A/AAAA records or triggers the DynDNS mechanism when necessary based on network changes, and supports linkage with external monitoring and Webhooks to ensure continuous accessibility of services in home and laboratory environments.
Default login password: cr0ndns! 42+ - Dynamic resolution: Map the current public network IP with a fixed host name, automatically update A/AAAA records or invoke the DynDNS interface, reducing the risk of manual maintenance and resolution failure. - On-demand updates: Perform writes and API requests only when IP changes, shortening propagation delay after a change is detected and reducing the frequency of vendor calls. - Vendor support: Integrate mainstream DNS registrars and hosting platforms (such as Cloudflare), and formalized configuration includes domain name, provider, API Token, and Zone ID. - Observability and linkage: Built-in Webhooks are integrated with external monitoring (such as Uptime Kuma) to push notifications under events such as logged changes, failed retries, etc. - Experience: Intuitive dashboard and form processes, clear record management, clear default credential prompts and security hardening paths.
