Misskey
Misskey is an open source distributed Weibo platform. Development began in 2014 by Syuilo in Japan. It is characterized by rich features, including drivers and responses, and a highly customizable user interface.
The lazy cat platform is self-deployed, and the initialization password can be left blank. Misskey initially used bulletin boards as its main feature, but due to the addition of a timeline feature that allows users to post short messages and view them in chronological order, its popularity has continued to increase, leading to a gradual shift in development focus to such features. Misskey did not initially provide decentralized services, but achieved decentralization through ActivityPub in 2018. Since then, it has become a widely recognized and used service.
