Comics Reader
A lightweight, self-hosted comic reader that directly reads local files and automatically generates thumbnails and indexes. It provides search and basic authentication, suitable for browsing comics at any time at home or on the go.
Comic files are mounted under the comics folder under the lazy cat network disk. Please ensure that there is a folder named this in the network disk and that there are corresponding files in the folder. The software will automatically scan it when it starts. The default account and password are admin/admin123 ·Cross-format support: Directly read CBZ/CBR/ZIP/RAR, PDF and pure image catalogs, viewing them without conversion. ·Mobile optimization: Interaction and typesetting for mobile phones/tablets, not for desktop, making the experience smoother. ·Local file system: Use your folder as a library, built-in database for indexing and caching thumbnails, and open it quickly. ·User authentication: Support basic authentication (Nginx/Apache transparent) or built-in database user management, command line creation/encryption change. ·Thumbnail generation: Sharp automatically generates preview thumbnails to improve browsing and retrieval efficiency. ·Reverse proxy friendly: Provides an example Nginx configuration that can be seamlessly placed under the path of existing sites. ·Known problem tip: ZIP (CBZ) may have compatibility issues with accented/diacritic file names. ·Open source license: Adopt MIT license, continuous maintenance, active version and dependency updates.
