Photo Gallery is a self-hosted high-performance photo management application that organizes photo albums around the file system without binding a database; supports multiple collections, instant generation and caching of thumbnails, collection of pseudo-albums, EXIF metadata and map positioning, and is lightweight and can run on small devices.
Thumbnails take some time to load, or you can click directly to view the image. ·Data and models: The file system is the core; folders are photo albums; multi-collection configuration is supported; pseudo-photo albums organize collections and selections through file links to avoid duplication taking up space; data can be freely migrated without relying heavily on the database. ·Performance and caching: Thumbnails are generated immediately on demand or generated and cached in the background; no full or regular scanning is required; virtual page scrolling adapts to massive photo browsing; lightweight design can run on low-power devices. ·Browsing and organizing: multiple themes (light/dark/by system); quick navigation between albums; Timeline view; duplicate photo retrieval; file renaming tool; adaptive image size according to screen size. ·Professional format and metadata: natively support iPhone Live Photos (HEIC pictures and H.265 videos); extract EXIF metadata; display single or all location distribution on a map, making location memories more intuitive.
