CrossWatch
CrossWatch is a locally running lightweight synchronization engine used to keep your movie viewing records from Plex, Jellyfin, SIMKL, and Trakt consistent with your list. It provides a clean Web interface for account binding, creating sync pairs, manual/scheduled syncing, viewing statistics and history, and supports real-time Scrobble from Plex to Trakt. All configurations and states are stored in JSON, which is locally controllable and suitable for self-managed environments.
After entering the application, open settings and add the corresponding media library. You can configure other options according to the tips on the right. After you have configured them, go back to the homepage, click Synchronize, and wait for the data to be updated. ·Multi-platform synchronization: Supports the creation of one-to-one or two-way "synchronization pairs" between Plex, Jellyfin, SIMKL, and Trakt to ensure consistent viewing status, favorites/lists. ·Real-time Scrobble: Built-in background listener, which can report the playback status of Plex to Trakt (Watching/Watched) in real time, with retry and deduplication mechanisms. ·Scheduling tasks and headless operation: In addition to manual synchronization, scheduled tasks can be enabled in "Settings"; automatic execution according to schedule is supported in Headless mode. · TMDb enrichment: Automatically obtain TMDb metadata and posters to improve matching accuracy and presentation effect. ·Local storage and auditable: Maintain config/state/statistics, etc. in JSON files, and save them in the local directory by default (/config in the container) for easy backup and versioning. ·Visual interface: Native Web UI for account authorization, synchronization pair management, operation and monitoring; with statistics, history and real-time log views. ·Modular architecture: Provides pluggable providers (auth/sync/metadata), making it easy to expand new platforms and new workflows. ·Fault self-healing tool: in "Troubleshooting", you can clear cache, reset statistics, reset UI local state, and quickly locate and recover. Privacy and control: locally enforced, data self-contained; no reliance on third-party hosting services, suitable for homes and small self-built media systems.
