Dockman is a Docker management tool specifically aimed at home laboratory users. Instead of using GUI to abstract configuration like other tools, it gives you complete control over Compose files, like a dedicated editor that helps you track and manage your entire Docker environment. Why choose Dockman? My original intention of developing Dockman was to solve my pain points in Homelab operation and maintenance. There are a lot of tools out there, but none of them fit my actual workflow. Previously, my approach was to edit the compose file in the IDE and manually transfer it to the server using scp. Although inefficient, the advantage is that I can keep operating in the development environment I am most familiar with. Dockman's goal is to retain this advantage while eliminating cumbersome steps. It allows you to comfortably edit the configuration locally and then deploy it to Homelab with one click, making it worry-free and efficient.
