Obtain connection information of protected applications through the Web API interface of connected applications (such as BitTorrent client software), identify connections that may contain potential security threats, and notify the corresponding application to proactively disconnect the connection. function introduction PeerBanHelper mainly consists of the following functional modules: PeerID blacklist Client Name Blacklist IP/GeoIP/IP Type Blacklist False progress checker (provides heuristic client detection) Automatic chain blocking Multiple hunting Peer ID/Client Name camouflage check; via AviatorScript engine Proactive monitoring (provides local data analysis capabilities) Network IP Set Rule Subscription WebUI (Currently supports: active blocked list viewing, historical blocked query, Top 50 IPs with the most frequently blocked, rule subscription management, chart viewing, Peer list viewing) In addition, PeerBanHelper will download the GeoIP library at startup and support the following functions after successful loading: Check the IP home, AS information (ASN, ISP, AS name, etc.), and network type information (broadband, base station, Internet of Things, data center, etc.) in the blocked list Block IP addresses based on GeoIP information by country/region, city, network type, ASN, etc. View GeoIP statistics qBittorrent/qBittorrent, version 4.5.0 or higher, does not support XDown BiglyBT (plug-ins required) Deluxe (plug-in installation is required) Transmission (4.1.0-beta2 or higher) BitComet v2.10 Beta6 [20240928] or higher (P2SP LTSeed long-term anti-bloodsucking is not supported because BitComet cannot temporarily block long-term connections) PeerBanHelper only supports anti-bloodsucking for traditional IPv4 or IPv6 addresses, and will actively ignore I2P or Tor connections.
